Fontastic is the story of a boy Nal and his parents, who travel to France every year to the forest of Fontainebleau, where they climb and become one with nature. We have currently completed the introductory story, which could become a series of several books/stories, each with a new life lesson suitable for children. The idea for the story came to us during actual trips in the aforementioned forest in France, a world-famous climbing area that has only increased in scope and popularity since the 19th century. Our desire is to translate the book into English and French and publish it abroad, especially in France, where we are sure that there would be great interest in such a book from the local community and from the point of view of tourism (as a mother, I would definitely buy this book, if you could find it on the shelves of bookstores in Fontainebleau).
In the opening story, Nal travels to Fontainebleau for the first time and at first does not understand the appeal of nature compared to the toys and cartoons that otherwise fill his days. However, in the forest he meets Basco, a living boulder, who speaks to Nal and brings him closer to his forest home than anyone else could. Now Nal can’t wait to run into this fairytale forest again and continue exploring its secrets.
